Edward Pritchett
CEO
With a dedication to helping others as his cornerstone, Edward seeks to bring out the best in people by creating synergy between the worlds of insurance, investment, and real estate. Edward is in constant pursuit of growing himself, his staff, and his company, in order to have the greatest impact on his community. As CEO, Edward guides with sincerity and challenges what it means to be a leader. Edward believes that the health of a company is directly related to the health and fulfillment of its staff. When he’s not working, Edward is usually adventuring with his wife, Rebecca, and their four children.
Walker Strickland
COO
With care and intentionality at her core, Walker incorporates her passion for people with her extensive business knowledge to bring much needed humanity to her role. Walker recognizes the demand for uniting a company’s unique qualities and assets to work toward a singular goal. She is not only a leader, but she is also an advocate for her staff, aligning their needs with the mutual success of CMC and its partners. In her time outside of work, you can usually catch her reading a book with her three dogs or attempting a New York Times recipe!

Karla Campos
Agency Coordinator
The past five years have been more organized and fun thanks to Karla’s presence. Not only does she adeptly manage our office space, but she also takes charge of agent engagement and outreach, lead distribution, agent contests, and provides invaluable assistance with agent contracting. Karla’s presence keeps us on track each day, and she has become the go-to resource for all our agency’s needs. Collaborating closely with the Baseshop Director, she identifies agent requirements and works tirelessly to find effective solutions. In her free time, she loves to hike and stays busy with her three kids and two dogs!
Sarah Hirst
Head of Process Management
Sarah is the epitome of a supportive team member, going above and beyond to ensure everyone’s success. From skillfully managing software to refining and streamlining processes, overseeing conferences, and efficiently coordinating tasks with the help of Monday.com, Sarah’s organizational prowess knows no bounds. No challenge is too big for her, as she readily extends a helping hand whenever it’s needed. Adding a touch of charm to our virtual meetings, her two adorable cats, Chive and Canela, occasionally grace us with their presence as delightful celebrity guests on our Zoom calls!

Head of Process Management

Maleah Monn
Marketing Director
Having started her career in the marketing field, Maleah seamlessly transitioned her extensive marketing communications expertise into the insurance, real estate, and nonprofit sectors. As Marketing Director, she oversees the Marketing Department, working closely with the Marketing Coordinator and Content Creator. Her purview includes developing effective channel strategies, crafting persuasive recruitment and social content, assisting both internal and external partners in making well-informed decisions, and so much more. She loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog, and she enjoys drawing and painting when she gets the time!
Becca Pavlik
Agency Baseshop Director
Becca Pavlik, a Cleveland, Ohio native, is driven by a deep passion for helping others. In search of a career that allowed Becca to help others, set her schedule, and balanced her personal values, she found life insurance was a perfect fit. Becca works closely with insurance agents to ensure they have all the tools they need in order to succeed. In her free time, Becca enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, and you can usually find her relaxing at her favorite local coffee spot!

Justin Hunter
Financial Controller
As Finance Controller, Justin manages financial systems, prepares budgets and reports, and ensures the company meets compliance requirements. He spent over a decade in the travel and resort industry before managing operations for a real estate team in WNC. Originally from West Virginia, he moved to Asheville nearly 20 years ago, where he and his wife raise their two kids, Grady and Finley, alongside their two dogs and two cats.,
Gracen Duffield
Business Analytics Manager
With a rich background in the tech industry, Gracen leverages her expertise to optimize our data management and analytics processes. Her primary responsibility involves guiding department heads on technology utilization, program effectiveness, and providing recommendations for enhancement. Apart from overseeing KPI collection and analysis, Gracen collaborates closely with our insurance agents to design and implement innovative procedures, ensuring maximum ROIs for our recruiting endeavors. In her spare time, she enjoys both urban and nature hikes, and she is also fluent in Mandarin!

Marketing Coordinator
A young and dynamic marketing professional, Drew, graduated recently and brings a fresh perspective along with up-to-date techniques and knowledge to the team. With her primary responsibility focused on managing the social media channels, Drew collaborates closely with the Marketing Manager to conceive innovative campaigns, assess key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct market research to stay ahead of the latest trends, and much more! When she’s not immersing herself in the vibrant arts scene of Asheville, Drew enjoys her free time spent with Kahlo, her beloved dog.
Beatrice Faureng
Operations Coordinator
Coming all the way from Norway, Beatrice is a recent graduate of University of North Carolina, Asheville, where she studied business finance. She works closely with Finance Manager and Head of Process Management, Sarah, to assist with all of the tasks that keep our operations running smoothly. When she is not preparing authentic Norwegian dishes, Beatrice enjoys spending time with her partner and their dachshund puppy, Angel!
